I've never grown melons so I am pleased as punch these are so successful!
We picked the biggest one a few days ago and now we're just waiting for it to ripen. One source said that cantaloupe will not ripen after it has been picked, so we may have jumped the gun. I always thought they got riper and sweeter when left on the counter for a few days! We'll let you know the verdict.
