I love the later days of summer when the sunflowers start popping up on the side of the road. I have many memories of them near my house growing up.
Nothing makes your kitchen sunny like a sunflower. Go pick some in the open field (nobody minds!) and brighten up your day.
These are my favorite flowers! A friend once brought me a wild sunflower bouquet, complete with roots, she had picked on the side of the road. It totally made my day and is something I remember 6 some years later! Your pictures are great!
